LSAFC was formed in 1920 under Loughborough College, the club
have developed a lot since then. The first team currently
compete in the Midland Football Combination Premier Division and
in the British Universities Sport Association Northern Premier
League, with the other squads competing in the other BUSA
leagues and Universities & Colleges Midlands League.
LSAFC have a proud history and a
superb relationship with both Midland Football Combination and BUSA.
LSAFC compete under the name of Loughborough University in the
non-league having entered for the first time in the 2007/08 season. We
are firmly established in BUSA, and are its most successful competitor and LSAFC strive to maintain our
dominance in the sporting elite through fair but competitive
performances.
In 2008 Loughborough also entered the FA National Futsal League,
one of 23 teams in the whole country! The club hope to be at the
forefront of the development of this sport in Britain and are
currently hosting some fixtures.
