MIKE LE BIHAN REVEALED
Behind Closed Doors caught
up with fourth team midfielder Mike Le Bihan for an insight into the life
of the fans favourite. He reveals the highlights from his time with us and his views on the
football world...
Can you tell me about your time at Loughborough, highlights and
lowlights... what squads you are in etc?
Well I'm having great time at my first and also last year at Lufbra, I
didn’t expect it when I came here, and I am involved in the 4th team too
with all good players and friendly teammates. The highlight is when we
were champion of the league at Nottingham Trent; the lowlight is our
recent defeat against Lancaster.
Can you shed any light on your footy career outside of Loughborough?
To be quick, I played in 2nd division in Niger in 1999 and 2000, after I
went to France in Clermont-Ferrand where I played at the same time for the
university 1st team and a club in the 6th division in France during 3
years (2001, 2002, 2003). At the end of 2003 I had a bad injury which made
me stop during one year. In 2005, I moved to Lyon where I played in a club
in the 9th division. And this year 2005 / 2006 I played for Lufbra
University football team.
What is the highest achievement in your career so far?
It was in Niger in 1999 and 2000 when I played in 2nd division.
And which is your most memorable game for Loughborough?
There isn’t one especially; we had a lot of great games this year.
Who was your best friend in LSAFC (Not including Nick Drew)?
I cant say one particularly, I met great team-mates including my coaches .
Have you any funny tales that you can tell us?

Which team do you support?
Bordeaux in France, Barcelona and Valencia in Spain, Liverpool in England,
and Milan in Italy.
Who is your childhood hero and why?
Of course Roger Milla who played for Cameroon because they represented
Africa during the latest world cup and also because he was a great
striker. George Weah a great scorer too. And of course Diego Armando di
Maradona.
How do you think England will fair in the world cup this summer? Who is
your tip to win it?
I think there are going until the quarter final but I don’t see them win
the world cup. Brazil of course and also Argentina.
Can you tell me something unusual about your past?
There was nothing especially
Who has the best and worst hair cuts at the club?
Lol, I don’t want to be in trouble so I'll keeping it for me.
What is currently playing on your CD player?
RnB, hip hop, reggae and African songs
Which three players have the most ‘chav’ status?
I don't know... perhaps Neil? Not sure on the other two.
Lastly, what does the future hold for your football career? Do you have a
message for the lads at LSAFC?
Hope I'll play in a great team too next year outside Lufbra.
Boys you made me have a great season, honestly I enjoyed all the training
session with you. So I wish you the best for the next season here. Thank
you too for the 2 coaches who picked me during the trial at the beginning
of the year. Big thank you all of you.
