Can you tell me about your time at Loughborough, highlights and lowlights... what squads you are in etc?
Involved in the two’s this year have been involved in the 1sts as well.
Highlight: was winning Busa in second year.
Lowlight: was losing the final in the first year on penalties after a great season.
Can you shed any light on your footy career outside of Loughborough?
Live in Isle Of Wight (IOW) at the moment play for Cowes FC. Have represented the IOW in the island games in Guernsey in 2003 which was great, like a mini olympics. Have represented Hampshire schools at u19’s level. Now playing for Loughborough Dynamo.
What is the highest achievement in your career so far?
Winning BUSA was great in second year and being named player of the year for the 2’s as a fresher was also great.
And which is your most memorable game for Loughborough?
Most memorable game for Loughborough was the final in first year although not for the final result it was still the climax of the season and we really deserved to win that game. Also scoring on my first game for the University was also wicked.
Who was your best friend in LSAFC (Not including Nick Drew)?
All the lads at Loughborogh are quality, although best mates are probably the ones who I started with in first year like Abi, Gards, Buzza, Windy and Barks. Although the new freshers are sound and I am good mates with Bradley, Carlton, Laurence and Liam but everyone is sound.
Have you any funny tales that you can tell us?
What happens on the coach stays on the coach but most of the funny tales though come from first year, great banter and some real characters in Carts, Husbands and Brockly – Brocks was an animal.

Man United through n through
Who is your childhood hero and why?
Hero was Paul Ince while he was at Man Utd, but as a striker Ronaldo was always a hero of mine.
How do you think England will fair in the world cup this summer? Who is your tip to win it?
England have a great chance some quality players in peak form but I wouldn’t over look Brazil who with players like Ronaldinho and Kaka will be a massive threat.
Should Peter Crouch be allowed to play football?
Just about although I wouldn’t fancy marking him!!
Would you take Simon Doleman to the world cup?
Dolly would be the first on the plane in my opinion but I don’t think Sven knows who he is!!
What do you think of the website, has it got too much banter for you? I heard that Simmo struggles with it!?!
Nah the website is great, although there could be more banter, a forum would be class though, can get great banter in a forum.
Who has the best and worst hair cuts at the club?
Best and Worst – Carlton rose - quality.
What is currently playing on your CD player?
All R n B and garage on my I Pod, went Kanye west concert recently so that’s getting some playback at the moment. Ne-yo and Chris Brown are heavy new artists and Kano and Sway are always on.
Which three players have the most ‘chav’ status?
Chav status? Hmm, I couldn’t say some people may be offended.
Lastly, what does the future hold for your football career? Do you have a message for the lads at LSAFC?
After this year get back to playing Saturdays, but most importantly this year we must win BUSA!!!
