caught up with first teamer and committee member Scott Telfer for an
insight into his life. Former Leicester City starlet reveals his
highlights from his time with us and his views on the
football world...
Can
you tell me about your time at Loughborough, highlights and lowlights...
Won BUSA in my fresher year with the 1st team, being on the committee
in my 2nd year and being on the treatment table last season more than
playing.
Can you shed any light on your footy career outside of Loughborough?
Previously played at Leicester City on a scholarship. Quorn and
Loughborough Dynamo at present
What is the highest achievement in your career so far?
Obviously playing for Leicester City playing in the youth cup at
Coventry, Wolves, West Brom and at good old Filbert Street and in a
Westerby Cup final in front of 16,000 alongside Matt Elliott and Muzzy
Izzet. Got to mention the BUSA cup final of 2004 – Windy pure jokes man
jokes!!!
And which is your most memorable game for Loughborough?
Got to be the BUSA final watching Windy make those saves.
Who is your best friend in LSAFC (not including Nick Drew)?
Anto Palmer in the 4’s
Have you any funny tales that you can tell us?
Not really Kettle loves the banter Simo, Browny and Sherman like a good
crack we’ll wait and see…….
Which team do you support?
Man United – yes originally from Manchester
Who is your childhood hero and why?
Steve Walsh what passion, fight, determination could pop up with an
important goal and smash you into row Z, but had little quality.

What three items would you take to a desert island and why?
Laptop for Championship manager, music and porn a football to learn
some skills sun screen for the tan.
Are there any youngsters we should look out for coming through the ranks?
Heard on the grapevine there are a few lads coming from pro clubs next
year and from the English Schools team so watch this space
When people say in football ‘play in the hole’, can you tell me where that
is?
Behind the strikers and in front of the midfield but on a messy
Wednesday night some bird back at hers.
How do you think England will fair in the world cup this summer? Who is
your tip to win it?
Hopefully win but at some point on the way to the final we meet
Germany and Brazil we’re going to win it the hard way if not England going
to be another Samba beat for Brazil.
Lastly, what does the future hold for your football career? Do you have a
message for the lads at LSAFC?
Been an up and down season so far winning and playing well then
playing awful and losing at home which never happens. Can see myself in
the States coaching and playing.
