PHIL MILLER REVEALED
LSAFC Online were lucky enough to catch-up with the nippy first team
striker Phil Miller to get some insight into how things are going this
season and how things are going for him.
Can
you tell me about your time at Loughborough, highlights and lowlights...
what squads you are in etc?
Still at Loughborough playing for 1st team and studying sports science.
Highlight winning BUSA championship in 2004/2005 season for 1st's and
winning BUSA for 2nd's the year before.

Can you shed any light on your footy career outside of Loughborough?
Playing for Loughborough dynamo at the moment, previously for Bamber
Bridge in Unibond League and for Fleetwood Town back in glorious
Lancashire. Captain North England colleges 3 yrs ago when in college in
Preston. Was at Preston North End and Blackpool Centre of Excellences.
What is the highest achievement in your career so far?
Winning BUSA for 1st's.
And which is your most memorable game for Loughborough?
BUSA final because of penalty shoot out and dramatic win. Most nerve
wracking penalty I have ever taken but made the win sweeter. The night
afterwards wasn't bad either.
Who was your best friend in LSAFC (not including Nick Drew)?
Mal Shotton (brown nosing anyone?), nah seriously everyone is my best
friend apart from Drew!! Got to give Seb Brimsted a shout though for
putting me as his all time hero in the Loughborough Dynamo programme!!
Who's the joker in your side? Have you any funny tales that you can
tell us?
Barks not strictly in the team but always seems to be out as part of
the squad at Hey Ewe. Kettle has great banter as well (?!?!). Great story
about Jason Stock that I cannot repeat here, tell you all in Hey Ewe if
you buy me a drink!!

Which team do you support?
Mighty Blackburn Rovers. Still on for treble this season-go on boys!!
Who is your childhood hero and why?
Seb Brimsted!!!!!! Nah, seriously Alan Shearer, watched him in his prime
at Blackburn as a kid, unbelievable pro!!
How do you think England will fair in the world cup this summer? Who is
your tip to win it?
Fancy England to make the semi's, but I reckon Brazil are obvious
favourites (strikeforce of Ronaldo, Robinho, Kaka, Ronaldinho and Adriano
- SORRY REST OF THE WORLD!!). Watch out for Serbia and Montengro as well
as Ivory Coast - will surprise a few!
Lastly, how has this season gone for you so far? what does the future
hold for LSAFC, can we win it?
Season didn't start great but last 2-3 weeks been a lot better. Keeping
more clean sheets and scoring more goals. Will win it this season, no-one
to fear!
A huge thanks to 'Miller Time' for this article.
